🐝World Bee Day 🐝
We maintain a community of hives and sow wildflower field margins to help provide essential food and habitat for our bees. In return they produce for us the delicious honey that we sell in the Farm Shop and they carry out the vital role of pollinating our strawberries and other flowering crops.
Just up the road are friends Warner’s distillery, where bee keeper Jonny looks after several hives. Warners use a dollop of their own honey in every bottle of Honey Bee Gin, available in the Farm Shop.
