Our Farmer's Kitchen is now open! Please see below how to book a table.
Our philosophy in The Farmer's Kitchen is to cook and serve top-quality seasonal food using the produce that has been grown on our farm and the fantastic ingredients that are sold in our Farm Shop.
Our menu changes with the seasons and is inspired by the produce we grow on our farm. All our food is cooked fresh to order by our team of Chef’s who take pride in producing delicious homemade meals for you to enjoy in the comfort of The Farmer's Kitchen. The menu includes our very popular Farmer’s Breakfast, a selection of brunch and lunch dishes, bowl food and our famous afternoon tea.
New Entrance: The entrance to the Farmer's Kitchen will no longer be through the farm shop. Access to the Farmer's Kitchen will now be through our Garden which is at the left-hand side of the farm shop. We will have lots of signs to help guide you, but if you're not sure just ask the member of the team on the door.
Booking: To allow for social distancing, we will now be taking bookings in the Farmer’s Kitchen. To make a booking either call us on 01858 464838 or send an email enquiry through to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, contact number, required date, number of guests and preferred time. It may take up to 48 hours for us to respond so if you are looking to book for the next day, please call. We take bookings for 2 - 14 days in advance and unfortunately we can not take same day bookings.
The booking phone line is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, please phone or email during this time to make a booking. *Please note you do not have to make a booking. You are welcome to come along on the day and you'll be seated upon arrival.
Walk-Ins: We will also have a number of tables available for those who haven't pre-booked, please be aware there may be a waiting time for these tables.
How long can I stay? To allow us to control how many people we have in the Farmer's Kitchen at any one time we will have a time limit of 90 minutes on tables. This will allow us to manage numbers, provide extra time for cleaning in between sittings and help keep our team and customers safe.
Our Menu: To allow for social distancing in our kitchens we will be running a slightly reduced menu in the Farmer's Kitchen. The breakfast menu will be served up to 11.30 am, the lunch menu served from 12 pm, the afternoon tea menu served from 2 pm. Click here to view the menu.
Do I need to pre-order afternoon tea? Our afternoon teas are a part of our Farmer’s Kitchen menu and do not need to be pre-ordered. Please be aware that we now serve afternoon tea 2 pm onwards. There is also no need to contact us beforehand if you have a gift voucher, just present this when paying.
Is the Farmer's Kitchen wheelchair accessible? Both the farm shop and The Farmer’s Kitchen is step-free and fully accessible by wheelchair. We are also pram friendly with space at some tables to keep your pram with you.
How do I use my gift voucher? Do I need to call in advance? If you have a gift voucher to redeem for afternoon tea, please bring it with you. Just present when paying. £10, £20 and £30 vouchers are also redeemable in the Farm Shop.
Are dogs welcome at Farndon Fields? Dogs are very welcome in our outside seating area but we’re afraid we do not allow dogs inside the farm shop and Farmer’s Kitchen. Our outside seating is only open when the weather permits.
