Harvesting update on the farm

Combining season on the farm this year is drawing to a close. So far we have harvested all of our winter crops which includes; biscuit wheat, milling wheat and winter beans with our spring oats to follow, hopefully before we get some rain! 🚜

Each year all of our spring oats go to Glebe Farm to be made into gluten free cereals and oat milk, which we proudly stock in the Farm Shop.

Kevin is very happy with the quality of the crops considering how dry it has been this year and says it’s been one of the easiest harvests ever with the long dry days creating perfect combining conditions 👨‍🌾
