Farndon Fields Loyalty Card Membership

Why do we collect your information?

When joining our loyalty membership we collect information from you to assist in allocating points to your loyalty card and managing your account. This includes name, address, email and telephone number. We also ask for permission to contact you by email to receive marketing messages from us about events, news from the farm and special offers.

How do we use your information?

Once you have a loyalty account set up on our system, your details are used to manage you account and any queries. Your account activity is also recorded and logged on our system. This data is used for internal reports and sales statistics to help us improve our service. If you have consented to receiving emails, then your name and email information will be used to send you our regular email newsletter.

Who has access to your information?

We promise to never sell your information to any unauthorised third parties. We do use third parties to process your data on our behalf. This allows us to operate our loyalty membership and marketing emails. How to opt out

Shopping Online

When you make purchases from Farndon Fields Farm Shop on this website we collect information from you in order to process your order. This includes:

Online payment’s are processed directly with a third party (Barclaycard) on their secure online payment portal. We do not handle, record or save your card details.

We will use your personal information to confirm the order you have placed with us, to contact you if we have a query with your order or if we are unable to process your order for any given reason. Your information will also be used to connect your transaction data to your loyalty membership account (where relevant).

If express consent is given, your details will be used to communicate our email newsletter with you.

All your personal information will be stored on a secure database hosted by a third party. This third party enables us to operate an online shopping service and will never disclose your personal information to anyone else. We will only do so if we have a legal duty to disclose information related to crime and fraud prevention.

Contact & Communication With us

Users contacting us through our website contact form do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely during communications, after this period it will be deleted.

We operate an email mailing list program, used to inform subscribers about products, services and news from the farm. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named in 'The policy' above. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by following the link in the footer of sent marketing messages. The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive, and if it may contain third party content, is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.

Email marketing messages contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.

We adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure our business and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles.
