Farndon Fields is a family owned, first generation farming business employing around 80 people across a 550-acre farm producing 40 varieties of potatoes, fruit and vegetables, an award-winning farm shop with butchery and deli counters and a 150 seat restaurant and production kitchen. The Farm Shopopens 7 days a week, presenting its own unique set of challenges.

At our Farm Shop site on the edge of Market Harborough, we control the entire process from ‘’field to fork’’ with growing, harvesting, merchandising, butchering, cooking and serving excellent quality food, giving our customers a fantastic food experience in a uniquely designed environment.

You will be an experienced Operations Manager who will lead our team of 6 managers in both our hospitality and retail divisions to deliver exceptional customer experience and products, and facilitate the development of our teams.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and business owners, The Head of Food Experience will have a diverse role and skill set and will be considered the “go to” person for a wide range of responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • can bring experience and knowledge with them to support our business in its next phase of growth.
  • has an eye for numbers, setting and maintaining KPI’s and other performance metrics.
  • enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering high quality service with attention to detail for our customers shopping experience.
  • has excellent communications skills with the ability to lead and inspire, creating high performing teams.
