Farndon Fields is an award-winning family run business which was established in 1983 and strives to be the ultimate destination for local food and farming. The business is located on the edge of Market Harborough and currently consists of a 500-acre arable farm, a large farm shop with a butchery, deli, garden and a restaurant, employing a team of 75 people.
This is an exciting role for a butcher to join our team. The butchery is part of our Farm Shop and is open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. This vacancy is for 5 days, approximately 42 – 45 hours a week, we can be flexible with working ours to suit the needs of our customers.
Our butchery counter is a unique part of the Farndon Fields experience. Our philosophy is to sell top quality seasonal food using the produce that has been grown on our farm and fantastic local suppliers. Our butchery has a variety of meat products all sourced locally, our sausages are handmade onsite by our skilled butchers.
We are working with our current butchery team to expand our product range and add to our customer experience by investing in our butchery. This has created a new role!
This is a perfect role for a butcher who loves customer interaction and can complement our knowledge of speciality meat and local produce.
