We are looking for a Part-time Chef to join our Farmers Kitchen Team

Farndon Fields is an award winning family run business which was established in 1983 and strives to be the ultimate destination for local food and farming. The business is located on the edge of Market Harborough and currently consists of a 500 acre arable farm, a large farm shop with a butchery, deli, garden and a restaurant, employing a team of 75 people.

The Farmer’s Kitchen is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. We have a unique opportunity for an experienced chef with great flexible working hours. We’d be looking for availability between 11:00am and 2:00pm to meet the needs of our customers. There are no evening hours unless it is for a special event such as our Christmas shopping evening.

Our philosophy is to cook and serve top quality seasonal food using the produce that has been grown on our farm and the fantastic ingredients that are sold in the Farm Shop. Our menu changes with the season and is inspired by the produce we grow. All of our food is cooked fresh to order by our team of Chef's who take pride in producing delicious homemade meals.

The Kitchen is modern and fitted with top of the range cooking equipment. It is a very fast paced service kitchen creating dishes for the 150 seat Farmer’s Kitchen restaurant. The team are passionate about providing a customer experience that is different with exceptional service and food. This is the perfect role for someone who is eager to develop and enhance their skills. Experience of working in a kitchen with all fresh food is a must.

You will:

· be thorough in your approach and follow all food health & hygiene standards
