We are looking for a Chef to join our Farmer's Kitchen Team

The Farmers Kitchen is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

We are looking for a flexible team member to join the Service Kitchen team who is available to work weekends and during the week when required. Our philosophy is to cook and serve top quality seasonal food using the produce that has been grown on our farm and the fantastic ingredients that are sold in the Farm Shop. Our menu changes with the season and is inspired by the produce we grow. All of our food is cooked fresh to order by our Chefs who take pride in producing delicious homemade meals.

Our Kitchen is well equipped to deal with a very fast paced trade serving the 150 seat Farmer’s Kitchen restaurant. The team are passionate about providing a customer experience that is different with exceptional service and food. You will share our passion for food and be eager to develop and enhance your skills. Experience of working in a kitchen with all fresh food is a must.

This is a great opportunity for a chef to develop their skills and work as part of a passionate team. The average working week will be around 45 hours which will include working at the weekend.

Join our Butchery Team

This is an exciting role for a butcher to join our team. The butchery is part of our Farm Shop and is open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

At Farndon Fields Farm all our meat is freshly prepared onsite and is sourced from local farms, the meat cuts are of exceptional standard and used by our very own Chefs in the Farmers Kitchen Restaurant.

We are looking for a butcher who enjoys interaction with customers. We are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience with fantastic local meat and friendly service. You will share our passion for food and take pride in creating a fantastic customer experience.

In this role, you will have strong customer service and selling skills and be a reliable enthusiastic team player. The role is a customer facing role and requires you to prepare cuts of meat to customers’ orders and specifications, as well as producing our own handmade products including sausages and burgers. We have high standards and a knowledge of HACCP is essential as is previous experience working in a similar role.
